Production:

The small production consists of a Grenache and Carignan cuvee sourced from 50–75 year-old  vines from vineyards planted on sloped hillsides made up of licorella soil, at an altitude between 150 and 350 metres above sea level, and around the village of Torroja, within the appellation of Priorat. The wine spent 24 months in 228-litre second-year French oak barrels.

Tasting notes:

Good concentration of ripe dark fruit, spicy, liquorice, and floral notes. Sweet, mature fruit opens the palate with spice, good minerality, and balsamic flavours. Warm and inviting, very pleasing and refined. Long lingering finish. Everything look for in a wine: clean, ripe, healthy fruit, character, and expression of terroir.

Notes: It is recommended to let it breathe in the glass for a short time to achieve its maximum potential. With good ageing potential.

THE WINERY

All the wines at Terroir Al Límit are elaborated practicing sustainable viticulture and a great respect for nature and its surroundings. The wines are organically farmed following ecological principles. Respect for the environment manifests itself throughout the winemaking process, from the grape harvest down to the bottling. The grapes are hand harvested and hand sorted both in the vineyards and the cellar. Since its beginning in 2004, Terroir Al Limit has reached highly respected status not only in the region but also worldwide, producing wines of the highest purity and maximum expression of terroir.
