Cims de Porrera wines are still made in the village cooperative of Porrera. The project comprises about 20 local wine growers and has been led since 2004 by the well-known "Cousins" of Priorat, Adriá and Marc Perez.

The Classic is made from a selection of very old Samsó vines ranging from 60 to 100 years old. Long ageing in French oak barrels (20% new and 80% used) for 3 years.

Tasting Notes:

Ripe, jammy fruit, mature dark fruit aromas, plums and cedar, Mediterranean herbs with chocolate notes, and spices. A pleasant creamy palate, rich and succulent, which should develop very nicely.
