Production:

Aged for 12 months in 1st and 2º year French and American oak barriques.
Organically farmed and produced wines, duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council of Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan Government. Vegan suitable.

Tasting Notes:

Lovely nose of smoky black fruits, along with spice and toasted notes. Beautiful creamy texture, good fruit expression, elegant and structured, with round and ripe tannins.

Notes: It is recommended to decant before serving.

Vinyes Domènech was founded in 2002 by the Domènech family, who were originally from Falset. The winery and its 15 ha. of vineyards are located in the village of Capçanes, within the DO Montsant. The vines are growing in an idyllic landscape at 500–550 meters above sea level, protected by the Montsant Mountain Range, and surrounded by natural forest, which creates a favourable microclimate suitable for wine growing.

The winery was built based on sustainable development criteria, using bioclimatic construction material, and choosing less contaminating products accepted by the ecological vineyard. They have bet on the "green cellar" concept, which is an integral concept of the entire process and embraces the ecological vineyard, the bioclimatic architecture, and the green technologies to sum up the eco-development.
