Production: 

A blend of Tempranillo and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo sourced from vines over 15 years old, hand harvested, and aged for 26 months in American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Complex aromas, sweet, smoky notes, ripe dark fruits. The palate is powerful yet elegant, with complex flavours, hints of spice, round soft tannins, and a long finish.  A classy Rioja wine.


Since its beginnings in 1858, Vinos de los Herederos del Márques de Riscal has been one of La Rioja's pioneer wineries, being the first to produce wines aged in oak barrels. Its wines are a must-try for anyone interested in learning about Rioja's very traditional style. The winery is located in El Ciego (Alava) and has a history of producing excellent wines.
