Production:

A popular and traditional Catalan drink, a sweet liqueur artisanal elaborated following the traditional methods of maceration from a complex formula of herbs, species, and fruits with the green nuts from the Garrotxa area, Gerona. The extraction of the aroma is through maceration under anisette or very refined alcohol, generally wine, during a period between one and nine months. At the end of the maceration, the ratafia is filtered and sweetened with sugar, syrup, or caramel, followed by an ageing process of five months.

 

Best served cold, ideal for desserts and sweets.
