Production: Palo Cortado is a rare variety of Sherry that is initially aged like an amontillado, but which subsequently develops a character closer to an oloroso.

This V.O.R.S. (Very Old Rare Sherry) is a unique wine of very limited production. This wine comes from a selection of 7 casks, the oldest soleras casks of this wine ageing in their Bodega in Jerez. Certified by the Sherry Council as an exceptional wine, aged for over 30 years.

This exclusive Palo Cortado brings together the finesse of an Amontillado with the elegance of an Oloroso. It presents a dark gold colour, nutty and tobacco aromas, quite dry and spicy on the palate, slightly bitter, reminiscent of dark chocolate and walnuts. This wine has been bottled without any kind of treatment, drawn straight from the barrel. It could show some cloudiness or sediments which is quite natural, and in no way will alter the enjoyment of the wine. It is recommended to store the bottle upright.

Notes:  Ideal as aperitif, with dry fruits and to accompany grilled tuna and Iberian ham.
