Production: A traditional liqueur wine  elaborated from the Carignan variety with an addition of alcohol to the must and skins before fermentation starts. Maceration last for approximately one month.   

Tasting Notes:  Mature dark fruit aromas, forest fruits, dates and figs. Pleasantly smooth and creamy palate, honeyed notes with a delightful floral touch, good acidity, finishing long with a light pleasant bitterness.

Note:  Ideal  with bitter chocolate  or chocolate desserts

Celler El Masroig is one of the most well-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 ha of vineyards on property, which makes it one of the largest cellars under the denomination of Origin Montsant.
