White wine elaborated by Paul Jaboulet Aîné. It is a 100% viognier cuvée sourced from vines located in the Ventoux region, a sunny area with cool nights, located south of the Rhône Valley.
Hand-harvested grapes from high-altitude vineyards are transported to the winery in small crates. Fermentation is carried out at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve all the aromas of the viognier. After that, the wine is matured for eight months on its fine lees.
Fresh wine with a marked varietal character, clean, seductive and exotic. Fragrant nose of white flowers, stone white fruit and exotic fruits, mango and pineapple with a slight honey suckle aromas. Rich palate, flavourfull and vibrant acidity.
Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a succesful producer of wines from most of the Rhône appellations, in Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Châteaunef-du-pape, Coindreu y Cornas.
Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné was founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, a producer and merchant in the region. The Domain has been passed down through the generations, preserving its winemaking heritage. Since 2006, the property has been in the hands of the Grey family, wine growers from Champagne and owners of Château la Laguna in Bordeaux.
Jaboulet's vineyards are located are located in the heart of the Hermitage appellation, one of the most prestigious in the Rhône. They spread across over 100 hectares of privileged terroir, including some of the most sought-after plots in the Rhône Valley.
The Domaine is renowned for its Syrah-based wines but also produces exceptional white wine from the viognier grape. Today, Paul Jaboulet is a true icon of the Rhône Valley, continuing to be a referent for its high quality and excellence, some of which are the most coveted wines in the region.
