A blend of low-yield selected grapes from different high-altitude parcels from the estate, each vinified separately, blended at the end after resting for 7 months on its lees in stainless steel vats.

Tasting Notes: Light and bright. A pungent nose of gooseberries with wonderful, fresh, ripe citrus flavours, green fruit with a touch of salinity. Full bodied, delicious, mouth-watering freshness with minerals in a crisp, and spicy finish.
Klein Constantia, a historic estate dating back to 1685, is located on a perfect location to produce cool climate premium wines and is now the most exciting white-wine area in all South Africa, producing some of South Africa’s top wines.
The vineyards are situated on the fertile valley on the narrow Cape Peninsula and are very much favoured by the cool and gentle maritime climate. Here Klein Constantia have demonstrated its great potential for Sauvignon Blanc and Rhine Riesling. Their first vines were planted here as recently as 1982, and shortly afterwards its Sauvignon Blanc had picked up the country’s premier white-wine prize.
