Bodega Etxaniz Txakolina is a small family-run winery in Getaria, the Basque Country, the home of Txakoli.  They produce wines from the autochthonous variety for excellence, Hondarrabi Zuri, sourced from vineyards on their own estates in Getaria, 60 hectares of vineyards on a hillside that slopes down to the sea.

Txomin Etxaniz presents Taxkoli wines, sparkling and late-harvest.

Production:

It is a fresh and fruity Txakoli with a characteristic acidity, a young white wine with a natural spritz of gas. It is made with the native Hondarribi Zuri variety from vineyards in Getaria.

The grapes are hand-picked in early October, selected and vinified in white, pneumatically pressed, fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, and left to rest on their lees until bottling.

It is characterised by its greenish-yellow colour, bright, with a subtle effervescence. Fresh fruit aromas, green apple, and citrus notes with a mineral background. Dry, slightly acidic, and carbonated in the mouth, with a vibrant and refreshing finish.

Ideal to enjoy with starters, fish, seafood, and white meats.
