Libalis White is a fruity, fresh and floral wine.

Production: 

The grapes are sourced from young vines from Finca Maetierra, a vineyard located in Calahorra, La Rioja. Harvested at night, with grape selection at the winery.

Tasting Notes: 

Libalis is a friendly, fruity white wine, fresh and silky, round and elegant, with a long and intense aftertaste. 

Notes: To be enjoyed in its youth. This very versatile wine pairs perfectly with any type of dish, as an aperitif, with tapas or snacks, or on its own.

Maetierra is a winery in the La Rioja region that exclusively makes white wines on red wine-producing land. Started as an experimental approach to making wines in 2001 by the School of Oenology of La Rioja. Their project had an interest in rescuing the autochthonous white variety of Rioja: La Moscatel de grano menudo (small-grain muscatel), which had practically disappeared due to the phylloxera at the end of the XIX century. Today, of the 150 ha of vineyards that comprise the Finca Maetierra, almost 60 ha are planted with this variety. In 2003, the winery led the creation of Valles de Sadacia, a new geographic indication for white wines.

Bodega Matsu is part of the Vintae Group, an innovative and dynamic enterprise that elaborates wine in eight different DOs throughout Spain. Founded in 1999 by Jose Miguel Arambarri, a passionate entrepreneur from La Rioja, a great connoisseur and enthusiast of the wine industry.
