Produced by Ánima Negra Winery in Mallorca, founded as recently as 1994, a winery that has demonstrated in a very short time the high-quality wines that can be produced in Majorca. Its wines are produced as Vinos de la Tierra Mallorca.
The Quíbia is the first white wine from the Bodega, a different, personal wine with a unique style, resembling a blanc de noirs because of its singular and curious blend with the native varieties, including the red variety Callet, the variety for excellence with a player role in all the wines produced by the winery.
Production:
The grapes are sourced from vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Hand-harvested and manually selected. The wine has fermented at low temperature and held for 4 months on the lees in steel tanks.
Tasting Notes:
A very impressive wine with freshness and a marked Mediterranean character. Notes of stone and tropical fruit, citric fruit flavours, revealing floral notes and an herbaceous vein, and finishing with a pleasantly bitter note.
