Masos d'en Ferran del tros de Cal Pigat belongs to the Cims de Porrera's estate wine collection. Made by Cims de Porrera in the village agricultural co-operative of Porrera. A project involving about 20 local winegrowers members of the co-operative that has been led since 2004 by Priorat's well-known "Cousins", Adriá y Marc Perez. Wine with a small production. A total of 145 bottles made.

Production:

Made entirely from a selection of centenarian Carinyena vines planted in 1950 at 600 meters in altitude.

Harvested by hand. Long ageing for 18 months in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Very expressive, intense, and elegant with ripe red fruit, Mediterranean herbs with spicy hints. Full-bodied and elegant, with a complex range of flavours, plums, black berries and black currants, a classic cedary aroma, well-integrated quality tannins, nicely balanced acidity, and a long, rich, warm finish.

It is recommended to decant the wine one hour before serving.
