Production:

The wine does not see any oak; both fermentation and ageing are carried out exclusively in concrete deposits with minimal intervention.

Elaborated from old vines grown around the village of Porrera. Each variety ferments separately in concrete and will spend another 10 to 12 months in the same deposits, followed by another 3 years of ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Fresher feeling, displaying red fruits, minerals and species. Palate round and smooth, good weight, intense with volume, perfect balance of acidity and dryness.

Note: It can be drunk now and over the next 6–7 years.

THE PROJECT

Les Cousins is a label made by two cousins, Marc & Adrià Perez. They started this new project together in 2007, located in the village of Porrera, within the appellation of Priorat. They both have gained wide experience working and studying in various vineyards and projects abroad, including the Cims de Porrera project and the family's vineyards and winery (Mas Martinet), which have made them well-known in the winemaking sector.
