Production:

Elaborated from grapes sourced from younger vines of 15-20 years of age, from vineyards situated on hillsides of steep slopes at an altitude of 350-450 metres above sea level. The soil is made up of the characteristic slate, known as "Licorella".
The grapes are hand-sorted both in the vineyard and the cellar. The wine has been aged for 10 months in second-year, very fine-grained French oak barrels.

Bottled without clarifying or filtering. 

 

Tasting Notes:

Fresh, soft, and gentle, with a lovely nose of ripe red berries, wild herbs, sweet spices, and mineral notes; upfront and warm. Smooth tannins on a long finish. Fruity, fresh, and expressive is the perfect description for this friendly wine from Priorat.
