Production:  Sourced from a selection of the best grapes from vines stocks with an average age of 60 years. The 50 ha. of vineyards are located in different plots around four villages in the Rioja Alavesa: Samaniego, Leza, Elciego and Laguarda. Harvested manually and followed by a careful sorting of the grapes at the winery. The Malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barriques (80%) and American oak (20%), followed by 22 months ageing. Botled without fining or filtration.  

Tasting Notes:  A super wine, with a beautifully nose of matured red and black fruits, subtle aromas of cranberries and mineral notes with a hint of vainilla and a fine edge of spice. The palate is ripe and big, mouth filling and smooth. Very structured with an elegant finish.

Notes: It is recommended to decant  the wine at least 2 hours before serving. Drink now through 2030
