Salvador Batlle the winemaker behind the project of Cosmic, surprises us again with a new creation, this time is a red wine made from 100% Marselan ecological grapes without Denomination of Origin and fully ecological certified, sourced from the highest altitude growing vineyards in the Baix Penedés region in the province of Tarragona.
Vinification:
The wine is organically farmed following the biodynamic principles.
Hand harvested. Fermentation takes place during 18 days in contact with the skin and has been aged for 4 months in amphores on its fine lees.
Natural wine without added sulphites. Very limited production of 2702 Bottles.SO2 <10 mg/l
Tasting Notes: Nicely crafted wine with wild forest fruit and ripe red fruit aromas, strong aromatic notes, spicy and balsamic with mineral touches. Full bodied wine, dense with volume and quite intense on the palate.
