The Old Bushmills is the oldest licensed whisky distillery in the world. According to official records, it was granted its licence to distil in 1608, and more than 400 years later, it is still making whisky at the Old Bushmill Distillery, located in the town of Bushmills in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Bushmill Malt 10 is a single Irish whisky. Distilled three times for purity and smoothness using the pure water from St Columb’s Rill. Unpeated malted barley is only used, dried up with hot air rather than over a peat fire, which means that the whisky is free from any smoky flavour.

The Bushmill Malt is then matured in a combination of both Oloroso sherry and American bourbon-seasoned oak casks for a minimum of ten years.

The result of this maturation in these two types of wood is a rich, smooth single malt displaying a light fruity aroma and spicy notes with overtones of vanilla, honey, and sherry.
