Ratafía is a Popular and traditional Catalan drink. The production of home-made Ratafia is still a strong tradition in many villages in the area, and the recipes are passed down through generations.

L'Hostia is a hardcore Ratafia, destined to become the new trendy liqueur drink among young Catalans. Behind this project are the twins, Alex and Albert Virgili (Virgili Bross), from the Penedès family winery Can Virgili in Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola. Their aim is to bring the world of liquors and wines closer to new customers through humour, design, and illustrated fun.

Production:

Nut liqueur macerated with more than 20 herbs, such as rosemary, cinnamon, sage, orange, star anise, fennel, and others.

After  4 months of maceration and subsequent ageing, sugar is added and bottled.

Drink Ratafia liqueur at room temperature, or it can be served cold when drunk as an aperitif or digestif. It is also ideal for desserts and sweets and to accompany dried fruits and nuts.
