Albamar is the flagship wine of the winery, pure Albariño sourced from different plots mostly from sandy soils in the Val do Salnés region, a wine that reflects the characteristics of the terroir where it comes from and remains faithful to the house style, clean, fresh, and vibrant wines.

Production: 

Fermented in stainless steel vats with native yeasts, it rests for approximately 5 months with its lees.

Tasting Notes: 

Clean and fresh, lively floral and tropical notes with attractive touches of citric aromas. Balance and freshness on the palate, citrus-fruit flavours, good acidity that gives a refreshing mouthfeel, and a long length marked by a salty feeling.

Bodegas Albamar is a small family-run winery located in Cambados, integrated within the Denomination of Origin Rias Baixas, in the Salnés Valley, in northwest Spain, the heart of the Rias Baixas region and home to the country’s most exciting white wines and best Albariño wine-growing area. The winery is managed by Xurxo Alba, the proprietor, a young winemaker, enthusiast, innovator, and restless. He makes a range of elegant and quality wines of limited production with an Atlantic character from the 2 ha of vines, located in the proximity of the sea.
