A high-mountain wine from vineyards growing on poor slate, stony, and clay-calcareous soils, located at 800 metres above sea level on the north face of La Sierra de Prades, in a privileged and magical setting, surrounded by high mountains and forest in the Natural Park of Prades and the Natural Park of Poblet.

The grapes growing at high altitudes are noted for their higher natural acidity content, which benefits the production of wine of much higher quality. Cara Nord Blanc exhibits amazing depth, concentration, and complexity, qualities that contribute to its unique personality and give it a remarkable capacity for ageing.

Production:

Old vine Grenache blended with Trepat and young Chardonnay. Hand harvested. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, followed by a 3-month rest in tank on its fine lees.

Tasting Notes: 

A young aromatic wine, light but with very fine fruitiness and revealing floral notes, with lively acidity and mineral character. Refreshingly fruity finish.
