Lovamor is an unoaked natural white wine made by Alfredo Maestro from 100% Albillo grapes from different vineyards and clones around Peñafiel (Valladolid), planted between 1891 and 1910 on calcareous-clay soils at an altitude between 700 and 1000 meters. Hand harvested, maceration for 7 days, fermentation in stainless steel vats with native yeasts, and 4 months in stainless steel vats. Bottled unfiltered and unfined after being naturally stabilised.

Tasting notes:

Golden yellow in colour, it opens up with revealing aromas of white flowers and stone fruit, as well as fresh straw and a hint of honeysuckle. Soft-textured, fresh, and balanced with good acidity.

Alfredo Maestro is a self-taught winemaker and a free spirit, totally independent, always true to his own style. He elaborates author wines in his winery at his hometown, Peñafiel, under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León appellation. His beginning in 1998 was just a pure hobby, which he has converted into his great passion; now he makes a wide range of personal and singular wines.
