A Pétillant white wine, a blend of the purest grenache grapes from the highest points, made under organic and sustainable agriculture in the most natural way. A free spirit wine, pure craftwork.
Vinification: Grenache as its purest, only in contact with concrete in its first fermentation, followed by a long ageing of 2 years in bottle, where it undergoes a second fermentation.
Bottled unfiltered and unfined. SO2: <12 mg/l. – Residual Sugar: 2g/l
Tasting Notes: Freshness, very fine residual carbonic, slightly saltiness in the aftertaste.
VINS NUS Priorat InStabile Wines is Alfredo Arribas’ project in the Priorat area. This project includes a range of wines made without any intervention, and as he himself describes them; free wines, wines that reseing to vintage continuity and their origins. Wines that are not permanently linked to any specific vineyard, varying with each vintage and coming from vinifications of different areas, La Morea, Torroja or even the higher areas in El Lloar, also can be made with grapes of different colors and characteristics or combining more than one vintage in the final blend of the same wine. A total exercise based on the art of assemblage, purely a display of wine craftwork.
Since the early starts of this wine-making adventure in 2001 with his initial project of Clos del Portal in Priorat, Alfredo has moved on focused by his passion and concern in the search for new initiatives. He developed a recovery task of old vines in the neighboring DO Montsant “Trossos”, followed by the incorporation of a project “el Mas de l’A”, based on the different Red and white Grenaches growing in the enclave of La Morera de Montsant. Opting for sustainable agriculture and viticulture, co-planting as a rule and stimulating the virtues of the youngest vines.
