The first white wine produced by the renowned Clos i Terraces in Priorat. An aged white wine of exceptional character that joined the Clos Erasmus family of wines.

The grapes come from a 13-hectare parcel, acquired in 2022 by Daphne Glorian, the alma mater behind the Clos i Terrasses winery. A plot located within the paratge of les Manyetes in Gratallops, and a small part of it is planted with the white varieties: White Grenache, Chenin Blanc and Viognier.


Production:

The grapes are hand-sorted, destemmed, and cold macerated for 24 hours. Direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels and amphorae.

Matured for 7 months in 400-litre French oak barrels and in clay amphorae.


Notes:

Lemon peel coloured. Aromas of white fruit and Mediterranean herbs, rosemary, and thyme, together with ginger, spicy notes, and a background of fine minerality. Rich and smooth on the palate, with excellent expressiveness, many fruit nuances and light herbaceous tones. It shows an elegant structure and lingering finish.
