Produced by Domaine Rolet, the second largest estate in the Jura Wine Region, an estate founded in 1942 by Mr. Desire Rolet. Today, it remains a family-owned winery after being acquired by the Devillard family back in 2018.

The grapes are sourced from the plot "En Novalet" on soil rich in grey marls and well-exposed slopes in the village of Planoiseau under the appellation of L'Étoilet, an appellation in the Jura wine region for white wines and vins jaunes only. Here, the chardonnay gives an elegant wine with a lot of character and ageing potential.

Winemaking:

Manual harvesting and sorting. Fermented in barriques and aged in the same barriques for a year before being bottled.

Tasting notes:

Intense, youthful, pure green fruits, lees, pear, lemon, and green apples with perfectly integrated acidity, mouth-filling but subtle, with a good length and a lovely touch of hazelnuts coming through on the finish.
