White Vermouth is elaborated by De Muller in Reus (Tarragona) from a selection of wines and aromatic plants following their traditional formula, which brings out its characteristic flavours and aromas. Young, fresh, soft, and perfumed, it displays aniseed notes, lemon, and bitter almonds. Mild entry on the palate, silky and fresh, dried fruit notes with a sweetish background and a honeyed aftertaste.
Founded in 1851, De Muller is a top name in Tarragona, very well known worldwide for being the supplier of the traditional Mass wine and for its rancio and fortified wines. At present, De Muller offers a very wide range of quality wines under the Denomination of Origin: Tarragona and also in Priorat and Terra Alta. From the beginning of 1996, the winery, surrounded by its vineyards, has been located in the finca "Mas de Valls" in Reus (Tarragona). Their modern installations have a capacity for a production of four million litres; here they elaborate on the Tarragona Denomination of Origin wines, all sourced from their 150 ha of their own vineyards. They also have a property in the village of El Molar, in the southeastern part of El Priorat, with 34 ha of vineyards, "Mas de les Pusses", and a new cellar with a capacity of 500,000 litres where the Priorat Denomination of Origin wines.
