Le Nez du Vin MasterKit aromas from Jean Lenoir contains 54 superb quality aromas to recognise in fine wines and to help you make progress in wine-tasting. Includes 54 index cards and an explanation guidebook.

The 54 wine aromas are:

Fruity notes: lemon, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, banana, lychee, melon, muscat, apple, pear, quince, strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, bilberry, blackberry, cherry, apricot, peach, marzipan, prune, and walnut.

Floral notes: hawthorn, acacia, linden, honey, rose, violet.

Vegetal and spicy notes: bell pepper/capsicum, mushroom, truffle, wine lees, cedar, pine, liquorice, boxwood (or blackcurrant bud), cut hay, thyme, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, pepper, saffron.

Animal notes: leather, musk, butter.

Roasted notes: toast, roasted almond, roasted hazelnut, caramel, coffee, chocolate, and smoky note.
