Mediterranean white vermouth made from a unique recipe by winemakers Toni Coca and Silvia Pujol after four years of research.

Production:

Made from a base of white wine, fortified grape must from Garnacha Blanca and Mistela, and about 30 natural ingredients, such as aromatic herbs, citrus fruits, and spices, which give it an individual character with a lot of freshness, a touch of bitterness, delicacy, and persistence.

All herbs, spices, and flowers are carefully macerated in a hydroalcoholic solution for one month and then hand-pressed using a vertical press with a capacity of only 5 kg.

The bottle has a very carefully chosen design, and the label is an illustration by Jaume Coca. A tribute to the Catalan Art Nouveau period at the end of the 19th century, when vermouth became one of the most popular drinks. In Catalan, the word XALAR means 'to enjoy' or 'to have fun'.

Tasting Notes:

Light amber in colour. Aromatic intensity with a marked Mediterranean character. It displays a wide range of nuances, predominating herbaceous, floral, balsamic, and spicy notes. It has a viscous and enveloping palate entrance, with a sweet and elegant flavour and a marked bitter finish denoting freshness.

Note: Ideal as an aperitif or at the end of a meal, it is also an excellent complement to cocktails. To be served chilled between 8 and 10 º. Due to its viscosity and citrus infusion, there is no need to add ice or citrus fruit.
