Production:

Elaborated from a skilful blend of carefully selected grapes from low-yielding and very old vines, 70–95 years old, exclusively of the autochthonous varieties, Samsó (Carignan) and Grenache, growing on slated slopes (known locally as Licorella soil) from different vineyards of the Priorat region: El Molar, Bellmunt, Falset, Porrera, Poboleda, El Lloar, and Torroja del Priorat. Hand harvested, it goes through a first selection in the vineyards, followed by a second selection by hand in the winery.

Fermentation and ageing for 13 months in new French oak barrels.

The wines from the winery, Ritme Celler, are organically farmed and produced wines and duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council of Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Catalan Government's Ministry of Agriculture.

Tasting Notes: Mature dark fruit aromas, balsamic, floral, and herb notes. Ripe, warm, spicy, and rich fruit on the palate. Mature and silky tannins with smoky touches.

Ritme Celler is a personal project of Albert Jané of Jané Ventura in D.O. Penedés and Acústic Celler of D.O. Montsant. It all started in 2003 when he acquired some old native vineyards in the D.O. Montsant. Once more, he maintains his philosophy, respecting the traditional viticulture of the region and the values of the fruit, with no attempt to give pride of place to the wood, great respect to nature, avoiding excessive use of technology, and allowing the vines to express their individual characteristics.
