Moments del Montsant is the conventional wine of the winery; unlike their other wines, Crossos is not sourced from the organically farmed estate's vines; it is produced and bottled at the winery from grapes sourced from the entire D.O. Montsant region.
Production:
Fermentation and maceration of each variety take place separately in stainless steel tanks. After the blend, the wine ages for six months in French and American oak barrels. Production of 5000 bottles.
Tasting Notes:

THE WINERY
The winery is called Domini de la Cartoixa (The Priory’s domain), as these lands belonged once to the Carthusian monks of Scala Dei Priory. The winery and its 11 ha of vineyard are located in the village of El Molar within the prestigious DOC Priorat and are owned by the Perez-Dalmau family.
The wines from the winery: Clos Galena, Galena and Formiga are organically farmed and produced, duly certified by the authority CCPAE the Catalan Council of organic production, the public watchdog responsible to the ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan Government.
