The 7 Magnifics collection continues its expansion to Montsant. After the first two wines, Rebels of Batea in the Terra Alta region in 2013, the second stop was DO Montsant, and in 2014 it comes to life with El Senat del Montsant, a red wine with the typicity of Montsant red wine and a marked Mediterranean character. The 7 Magnífics project includes a collection of wines produced in singular places from unique vines, representing the terroir where they come from, climate, and traditional varieties.

El Senat del Monsant is a blend of mainly Garnatxa and Samsó, sourced from old vines over 60 years old, and Syrah, which comes from younger vines of approximately 10 to 15 years of age. The wine spends 8 months in French oak.

Tasting Notes:

Intense ruby red colour, fruity, lovely, and round fruit, blackberries and forest fruits, slight toasted notes, and very soft and velvety tannins, marked by the characteristic Mediterranean character.

Notes: Drinking beautifully now and over the next 3-4 years.
