Secrets de Mar is the new range of wines by Clos Galena from the Denomination of Origin Terra Alta. Under this new project, Domini de la Cartoixa presents a young white wine and a young red wine. Wines of a marked Mediterranean character, with a fresh and friendly style elaborated from autochthonous grape varieties.

Production:

Secrets de Mar Carinyena Mediterránea is made from a cuvée of mainly Carignan, together with Black Grenache and a small percentage of Syrah, sourced from vines over 30 years old. It has fermented in stainless steel vats for 20-25 days at 26ºC. Brief ageing of four months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

A young, light, fresh, and straightforward red wine, displaying rich flavours and round fruit with a touch of spice. Good structure and complexity with a long and pleasant mouthfeel.
