Production:
Elaborated from the Trepat varietal, autochthones are from the Conca de Barberà region, and it comes from younger vines with an average age of about 35 years.
The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification is traditional, practicing sustainable viticulture with a great respect for nature and the environment. After a hand selection process, the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats for approximately 35 days.
Tasting Notes:
Fresh, light, and fruity, with scents of mature red fruit, mineral, and spicy. Full-flavoured wine with marked spiciness, liquorice notes, and good acidity. Ending nicely with a spicy fruit-filled finish.
The Winery:
This young project was born in 2011 and initiated by Albert Canela and Mariona Vendrell, a young professional couple with loads of enthusiasm and bringing a formidable experience and a joyful passion to the project, both of them participating in the production of these wines. Based on the denomination of origin of Conca de Barberà, in the province of Tarragona, their vineyards are planted with the Trepat varietal, indigenous to this region, and belong to the municipal district of Barberà de la Conca, Sarral y Cabra del Camp.
