L'Interrogant is made with impeccable care and with the utmost care and respect for the environment by Clos 93, a small and artisanal winery located in the municipal district of El Lloar. It consists of a blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from small parcels of different soil and inclination types. The vineyards’ age ranges from 15 to 25 years, and they are located at an altitude of 200–220 metres.
Production:
The grapes have been harvested by hand and vinified separately by variety until the final blend. Cold fermentation for 2-3 days, followed by fermentation under controlled temperature conditions. Once the wines have undergone 8–9 months of ageing in French oak barrels, the coupage is blended in stainless steel vats and left to stabilise for 15–20 days before bottling.
Tasting Notes:
Fresh, fruity, and elegant nose, combining spiced red fruit with fine toasted notes and hints of chocolate and coffee notes. Good intensity of fruit on the palate with a lovely creamy texture and freshness, lively acidity well integrated, balanced, and harmonious.
Notes: It can be enjoyed very well now and for up to 4-5 years.
