Production:

Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature and aged for 14 months in fine-grained American and French oak barrels.

 

Tasting Notes:

Displays aromas of red fruits, liquorice, and spice notes combined with toasted notes from the oak. Medium-bodied, elegant, and nicely balanced, with good fruit and floral flavours and excellent length with fine tannins.

Notes: To be enjoyed over the next 6–7 years.

 

Izadi means "nature" and is located deep in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, at the feet of the Cantabria Mountain Range, in the municipality of Villabuena, one of the most privileged areas of the D.O. Rioja Alavesa. They have 187 ha of old vines facing south, with exceptional soil and a privileged microclimate.
