Made entirely from the Conca de Barberà region's native grape variety, Trepat. Ecologically farmed.
Tasting Notes:
Fresh, aromatic nose with lovely red-berry aromas and floral notes. Light, fruity, and straightforward, it is a young wine with nice red berry flavours, vibrant fruit, and good acidity.
Notes: This wine is made to be enjoyed in its youth, 1-2 years.
CELLER CARLES ANDREU
This is a small family-owned winery whose roots can be traced to 1781. As recorded in the history archives, the family has been dedicated to growing vines ever since the 18th century.
Today the family owns 80 ha of vineyards in the Conca de Barberà, and they are run by Carles Andreu, who, in 1991, continuing with the family tradition, established the actual bodega that bears his name in the town of Pira. There, they produce a nice selection of cavas and wines of great quality.
