The winery’s flagship wine, ÀN, is made mainly from the native variety Callet from some exceptional old vines growing in poor soil, together with a slight touch of the main indigenous Mallorcan grapes, Mantonegro and Fogoneu, from low-yielding plants.

Produced by Ánima Negra Winery in Mallorca, founded as recently as 1994, a winery that has demonstrated in a very short time the high-quality wines Majorca is capable of producing. Its wines are produced as Vinos de la Tierra Mallorca.

Production:

Hand-harvested and manually selected. Aged for 18 months in new fine-grained French oak.

Tasting Notes:

A very impressive wine, with complex, nicely concentrated ripe berry fruit and some spiciness, smoke, and dark chocolate. Elegant with balance, delicious, smooth, blackberries with a touch of herbal notes. Full-flavoured wine with a fine backbone of tannin well integrated.
