Casa Herradura, founded in 1870 in the Amatitan Valley, Jalisco, is one of the main tequila distilleries in the world today. Tequila Herradura grows its own blue agave plants, from which it extracts the natural juices and honey to be distilled under the strictest quality controls and maintaining the traditional procedures. It was also the first distillery to introduce Reposado in 1974.

Herradura Reposado has been aged in American oak barrels for 11 months. The result is a tequila with an intense amber colour reflecting its ageing, full-bodied and silky texture, and marked aromas of cooked agave, cinnamon, vanilla, and toasted notes.
