The Macallan Series Single Malt is exclusively matured in the perfect balance of hand-picked, sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same cask for a full 18 years.

This amber honey-coloured spirit presents the delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak, including vanilla, citrus, ginger, sultanas and toffee, combined with the more traditional Macallan characteristics of dried fruits and toasted wood spice attributed to European oak. It finishes with a lingering warm oak and citrus note.
