Glenfiddich, a distillery since 1887, is family-owned and run by the fifth generation, based in Dufftown – Speyside, kept independent, setting their own standards and rules in order to create a skilfully crafted single malt Scotch whisky in the traditional Speyside style. Glenfiddich, which is Gaelic for "Valley of the Deer", is the ideal valley for producing malts, with the unique freshness from the same highland spring water flowing here and used since 1887, and taking advantage of the cool microclimate, which allows the malts to age much more slowly.

Glenfiddich 12-year-old is a whisky with a unique freshness thanks to the highland spring waters of the valley and its cool microclimate. An iconic single malt that has aged for at least 12 years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before being mellowed in oak marrying tuns to provide its sweet and delicate oak flavours. It has a distinctively fruity flavour, a creamy texture and a smooth and mellow finish.
