Donzell is an aromatised wine, an unusual "vermouth", ideal for aperitifs. Elaborated by the cousins, Adrià and Marc Pérez, together with the collaboration of Joan Carbó from the acclaimed restaurant Celler de Can Roca.

'Donzell' is the Catalan term for absinthe, the key ingredient in vermouth, as it imparts bitterness depending on the amount used in its elaboration. Produced from a base of rosé wine from the grape varieties Carignan and Grenache, organically grown at Pinyana (Tarragona), macerated in a wooden foudre for 6 months with a selection of fresh wild herbs such as rosemary, thyme, fennel, and lavender, as well as citrus peel and wormwood. There has not been any sugar or concentrates added, only organic white sugar, and no alcohol has been added either.

Note: Ideal as an aperitif. To be served cold, at 10 to 12º, with a slice of orange.
