Albariño is in Goliardo A Telleira, the key grape variety, sourced from old vines in a single vineyard located next to the sea. The wine is produced by Bodegas Forjas de Salnés, a small family winery in the DO Rias Baixas with more than 100 years dedicated to winegrowing. Since 2005, the winery has been in the hands of the third generation, led by Rodrigo Méndez, who has been working closely with well-known winemaker Raúl Pérez.

Goliardo A Telleira is reminiscent of Raúl Pérez's Sketch; both are made exactly the same way, from the Albariño grape from vines located a short distance from the sea.

Fermentation and ageing take place in French oak foudres of 750 litres in contact with their fine lees for 12 months. Once bottled, it will be submerged in special cages 30 meters deep in the Arousa estuary, where it will rest at a constant temperature, humidity, and pressure for approximately three months. Small production.

Tasting Notes: 

Complex and elegant, with predominantly citrus and floral notes and a mineral and saline background. Unctuous on the palate with flavour and personality, the oak comes out very softly.

Notes: It has good ageing potential.
