"Partida La Galera" is a Vi de Vila de la Vilella Alta. This is one of Bodegas Mas Alta's single-estate wines, made from White Grenache and Chenin Blanc in equal parts, grown on llicorella soils on the estate "La Galera", an exceptional finca with one hectare of vines situated 400 metres above sea level, opposite the Montsant mountain facing northwest. The vines have an exposure opposite to "La Solana Alta", the winery's other single-estate wine.

The 2019 vintage was their first release to come out in the market for this exceptional, complex white wine of very small production. The vintage 2018 has been released afterwards.
Production:
Fermented in barrels. The wine has matured between 6 and 8 months in new 225 and 500-litre French oak barrels, followed by a further 4 months in foudres with its lees.
Limited production of 1401 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
Clean, lively, with good aromatic complexity. Aromas of stone fruit with a hint of anise and herbaceous notes with a mineral background. Warm on the palate, creamy texture and volume, and good acidity. Stylish and very expressive, with a long, well-balanced finish.
