Maison Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy's most historic domaines and a reference that has contributed to the renown of the wines of Burgundy worldwide.

Founded in 1859 by Louis Henri Denis Jadot, the estate has expanded over the following generations with the acquisition of plots in the best Grand Crus. In 1985, the Jadot family decided to sell the company to the Kopf family, its importer in the United States, and today they are still the present owners.

Currently, the Maison Louis Jadot manages over 240 hectares of vineyards in between Burgundy and Beaujolais, from which they produce fresh, fruity wines under a regional designation, as well as more refined and complex wines when they come from 1st Crus and Grand Crus. They have various production facilities across the Côte d'Or and Beaujolais, as well as their own cooperage, Cadus.

The Louis Jadot Chablis AOC comes from the vineyards located around the towns in the northern part of Burgundy. The vines grow on a gentle slope facing east at 230-390 metres above sea level, on rocky and well-drained calcareous soils.

Harvested manually in small boxes, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermented and aged in stainless steel vats.

Ageing potential of up to 10 years

Tasting notes: Pale golden yellow. It has all the classic elements of fine Burgundy: crisp and lively with green apple crunch, aromas of exotic fruits, white flowers, and a mouthwatering freshness. The palate is creamy and soft with a firm backbone of acidity supported by a decent weight of fruit. Long finish and excellent with food.
