Castell de Tallat is the pride of the winery, a wine with immense sentimental value due to the location of its vines and the legacy it transmits.

A single-estate wine from a very special and unique "Castell Tallat" estate, the legacy from the great-grandfather, where Macabeu vines were planted back in 1912.

Vinification:

Manually harvested with grape selection at the vineyard and at the winery. Fermentation and ageing are carried out in clay amphora for 5 months.

A wine of limited production of 856 bottles for the 2021 vintage.

Tasting Notes: 

Wine of great intensity and personality. The nose displays a combination of almond, floral notes and anise notes of Mediterranean herbs. Good intensity on the palate, with saline, apricot, and peach fruit flavours. Silky texture with a delicate, fresh, and elegant finish.

Mas Vicenç is an enthusiastic young project, producing elegant and modern wines with innovative images that symbolise the spirit of the new era. A small family winery dating back to 1953 and located to the north of Alt Camp in the province of Tarragona. The young winemaker, Vicenç Ferré Morató, is the sixth generation of a family dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. After his enology studies, he gained a wide professional experience working in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône wine region under the renowned winemaker Michel Tardieu, and from 2004 he led the prestigious winery and vineyards of Bodegas Mas Alta in the Priorat. Since 2009, when he embarked on his own project, he has been running the family business, allowing him to develop his creativity and apply this experience.
