Linit is a Mediterranean white wine, 100% Pardillo, an ancient and rare white grape native to the Albacete region. The grapes come from an inland single vineyard of centenarian vines at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level in the Almansa region. The vines grow on clay soils with abundant pebbles on the surface and a chalky base.
Production:
The grapes are manually harvested and directly pressed. The fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks for 10-15 days without temperature control.
Aged in 350-litre neutral barrels and concrete tanks for 8 months. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with only a small quantity of SO2 added.
Tasting Notes:
A fresh wine with a marked Mediterranean character. Displays white fruit aromas and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth, it shows volume, good acidity, and a very pleasant finish.
THE PROJECT
Envinate is a venture of four friends who, after studying enology together, embarked on a project that was unique to them. Currently, it has established itself as a solid and dynamic project with great recognition and prestige, both nationally and internationally, for its "terroir" wines, which are highly sought after for their excellent value for money.
Following their passion and ideals and with a lot of work and their expertise, they have proudly created a range of honest, authentic wines from distinctive areas, mainly in the area of Ribera Sacra and also the Canary Islands, always working with the local varieties, wines that speak of the terroir where they come from.
They work in a natural style, using no chemicals in any of their vineyards; all grapes are hand-harvested and using wild yeasts. Sulphur is added in those cases where it is needed, such as during bottling and ageing in old barrels and concrete vats.
