Vermut Estones PX is produced by Vins de Mas Sersal with Estones Vins' grape variety per excellence in Terra Alta, Pedro Ximénez. It is made with the synergy and advice of Vermouth Padró in Tarragona.

The botanical blend that macerates with their PX wine gives the Estones vermouth a personality of its own.

Estones PX vermouth is made by vinifying Pedro Ximénez wine and ageing it on its lees for one year. The wine is then oxidised for a further year "sol i serena", which consists in storing the wines in glass demijohns outdoors in order to accelerate the oxidative processes due to the direct sun's impact in contrast with the cold at night.

Once the vinification is finished, the wine is macerated with the botanicals: wormwood, hibiscus, bitter orange, gentian, elderberry, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and vanilla.

The wine is fortified to 18% and caramel and sugar (80g/l) are added, making it a special vermouth with a finish reminiscent of the PX variety and a surprising balance between freshness and sweetness with perfectly integrated spicy and bitter notes.
