Perafita is a vibrant young white wine made from the native Empordà variety, Picapoll Blanc, by Celler Martín Faixó. The family-owned winery, established over 60 years ago, is located in a privileged location of the Cap de Creus Natural Park (DO Empordà).

The winery has 18 hectares rooted in slate soils. Its wines reflect the essence of the environment, shaped by the cooling Tramontana breeze and its proximity to the Mediterranean – factors that provide the wine with great freshness, structure, and excellent minerality, which are the primary characteristics of the winery's labels.

Production: 

Made from White Picapoll grapes grown in a vineyard at Cap de Creus Natural Park on slate soils and exposed to the salty Mediterranean air.

Hand-harvested, it is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Pale yellow in colour with aromatic intensity. It features notes of white flowers and white stone fruit supported by subtle floral undertones. On the palate, it retains excellent expressiveness, revealing notes of ginger alongside characteristic minerality and acidity from the schist soils. Finishing fresh and slightly salty.
