La Rioja Alta Winery is one of Rioja's very best names, producing high-quality wines in the classic Rioja style.

Viña Alberdi is often one of Rioja's better crianzas and reasonably priced for its quality.

Production:

Selection of the very best Tempranillo grapes from 40-year-old vines sourced from the highest areas of the Rodezno and Labastida estates.

Aged for two years in American oak barrels, the first year in new barrels, followed by another year in bottle before its release. 

Tasting Notes:

Clena and bright. It offers a complex nose of fruits, spices, and oak with classic notes of tobacco and leather, red fruit jam, raspberry, and redcurrants with herbal hints. On the palate, it shows elegance with mouthfilling flavours and depth. An excellent fruit load with soft tannins and a long finish.
