This is the flagship wine of the winery, made from a blend of very old-vine Grenache and young-vine Syrah from different vineyards in the village of Gratallops, grown on steeply terraced llicorella soils in a sun-exposed vineyard, totalling just 7 hectares in the highly acclaimed wine region of Priorat. The grapes are sourced year after year from the same vineyards, Escales, Aubagues and Socarrats, which are vinified separately.

Production:

The grapes are sorted by hand, destemmed, and slightly crushed. Aged for 20 months in new French oak casks and second-year casks and one part in amphoras. Bottled without fining or filtration. 

Tasting Notes:

Intense aromas of jammy black fruits and cassis fruits, with touches of liquorice and toasty new oak notes. Full-bodied, deep, full-concentrated fruits with good weight and nicely balanced acidity.
